I've tried lighting scenes for my large format scenes with multiple off camera flash and it's been really hit or miss, and by that I mean totally miss. So I've started messing around with my digital camera so at least I can see quick results. Really, I wanted to see how many times I could get away with firing off the flash within a certain time span on bulb. Here are a couple close up self portrait tests.








It's really different from my normal stark style, but I feel like it's important that I try and take shots that are dramatically different in style from my normal work. Next up will be trying full scenes.

Guess what? That polaroid back I got...no longer has any film available for it. I got a paperweight. Apparently everyone else who owns it has the same problem, and it only happened very recently.

Awesome.

If anyone knows anywhere that has 4x5 polaroid film that isn't pack film, but 10 seperate individual exposures, let me know. Until then, I guess I have a neat collector's item.
